WHAT WE DO WITH THE MONEY

Some money facts:

  • The money you pay to the park district does not cover the entire expense of the swim program.
  • It costs an additional $120 per swimmer to run both swim & synchro teams.

The additional cost is covered by the various fundraisers we conduct throughout the year and sponsorships from local businesses. Please visit our sponsors, listed on the left, and tell them THANK YOU.

  • 30% of our income comes from our snack bar. Bill Casey (BBQ Bill) has done an outstanding job of providing us great value at our snack bar. Please support the team and buy one of those great breakfast sandwiches or a hamburger.
  • 15% of our income comes from Swim-a-lap donations. Every dollar and every lap counts.

Where your donations go:

  • Norcal Swimmer fees for every swimmer and The VFCal Synchro Championship fees.
  • The district receives financial assistance to help pay coaches’ salaries.
  • All trophies, medals and ribbons.
  • Computer equipment
  • Swim equipment (fins etc.)
  • Synchro costumes
  • Website fees
