Dear FEC Swim Team Families,

I hope you're all doing well! My name is Mike van den Enden, and I’m excited to introduce myself as your FEC Computers Person for the team. My role is to help manage meet entries, timing, and anything tech-related to ensure our swimmers have a smooth experience. As some of you all know we have a new platform for managing our swimmers, volunteering and swimmer entries. I'm here to help us all navigate this new process.

One important process to be aware of is how to sign your swimmer out of a meet if they won’t be attending. If your swimmer needs to miss a meet, please follow these steps:

1. Log into your account at https://www.fecstingrays.org – This is where meet entries are managed. As a team I have defaulted each swimmer as "Attending"
2. Locate the Upcoming Meet – Find the meet your swimmer is scheduled for located under the "Meets & Events" tab and navigate to the Signup Calendar.
3. Select the “edit” Option – At the bottom of the page is a red box to edit the selection. Find your swimmer and use the drop down menu to change the status of your swimmer to "Not Attending this Meet" This ensures they won’t be placed in relays or individual events.
4. Confirm by Wednesday – To help our coaches plan, please complete this step before Wednesday leading up to each meet. I will send out reminder emails each week leading up to the swim meet.
